LabKey talk at University of Washington BHI 10/18

Mark Igra, one of LabKey's Founding Partners, has been invited to present a lecture “LabKey Server: An open source platform for scientific data integration, analysis and collaboration”
as part of the University of Washington Biomedical and Health Informatics Lecture Series.

Location: UW Health Sciences, I-132
Time: Tuesday October 18, 2011 from 12:00 - 12:50 p.m.

Scientists increasingly need to integrate information from a wide variety of data sources, ranging from clinical subject data to enormous volumes of data from high-throughput screening assays. Because requirements change rapidly, data integration systems must be flexible and scalable. Mark Igra will discuss LabKey Server's approach to addressing the data management needs of labs and research networks, including an easily extensible schema, infrastructure for securely sharing subsets of data, and customization tools for end users, administrators and developers.

Update: The slides from Mark's presentation are now available.  LabKey Server: An open source platform for scientific data integration, analysis, and collaboration
