Bernie joins LabKey with a wide breadth of scientific experience, ranging from clinical toxicology and inorganic chemistry to biomechanics and physiology. He holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, where he worked in the chemistry department and gained experience in pharmaceutics and flow cytometry. Bernie continued his education at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he earned his MS in Physiology in 2012. Most recently, Bernie worked as a data analyst and LCMS technician while consulting at RatLab LLC to develop novel biomedical instrumentation. In his spare time, you are likely to find him on an ultimate frisbee field, ascending a cliff, or suprising someone with one of his freshly baked pies.
