Compensation and Flexibility
In a world of 12 hour days and workplaces that punish you for taking vacation and taking care of your family, we value your time AND respect your life. And we will put our money on it – all employees are paid overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. Team members respect each other’s time and schedules. In addition, we provide Paid Time Off to fully help you recharge and relax. We understand this model is a little unique, but so are you.
At LabKey, we support your long term success. That is why we provide ongoing Stock Option Grants, based on company and individual performance as well as a target bonus. LabKey also provides a 401(k) with an automatic company contribution with 100% automatic vesting, starting after one full month of service. Your contributions, your shared success.
We are committed to your professional growth and development which is why we provide 5 hours per month of paid training or professional development time to help you become even better at what you do. We also offer access to online learning and classes through a membership in Lynda.com, have an ongoing Brown Bag series on technology and science, encourage employees to participate in our annual User Conference, and provide some support for conferences.
Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, and Vision
We offer 90% employer paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families. Employees are eligible 1st of the month following date of hire for premium plans provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield (Premera) with a low deductible ($200), $20 copays and 10% coinsurance for certain services.
Life and Disability
LabKey offers 100% employer paid Short and Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance at 2 times annual salary to a set maximum.

LabKey provides 80 hours of paid parental leave, short-term disability, a private nursing room with a Medela pump, FMLA and bonding time. Our inherent flexibility allows new parents to create schedules that work for them.
