Session Guide

User Conference

A diverse group of LabKey users will share how they use LabKey Server to advance collaborative research projects. Presentations will cover a wide range of LabKey Server applications and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of each presenter.

The LabKey Server Workshop is a hands-on event designed to teach developers and advanced users how to adapt LabKey Server to meet their specific requirements. Tech talks, training sessions, networking, and hands-on guidance will inspire and accelerate application of LabKey Server to your scientific data management challenges. The program will include content for users, developers, and administrators of all levels. Bring your laptop and be ready to learn, apply and share.

Tech Workshops
Workshops bring together attendees for intensive technical sessions on specialized topics of shared interest. Each optional session is introduced by a LabKey subject matter expert and offers the opportunity to ask deeper technical questions, learn collaboratively, and apply what you’ve learned to your own work. Tech studio topics will be determined based on attendee interest.

Open Work
The LabKey User Workshop centers around the individual and group project work that you bring. It is helpful if you bring your laptop with the current version of LabKey Server already installed. LabKey developers will circulate to answer your questions, provide design advice, and connect you with others working on similar challenges.

LabKey Fundamentals Training

These classroom-based sessions will introduce new users to the LabKey Server platform, covering the basics of administration at the site, project, and folder levels, as well as introductions to the core LabKey Server capabilities around collaboration, security, file management, and visualization. It is helpful to bring your own laptop for training sessions, but not required.
